Today we are flying to Quebec City, so it is an early breakfast, followed by a drive to Toronto airport to pick up our midday flight. We are flying Air Canada economy , so will not get a meal on a flight will take just over an hour, so we are looking forward to another filling breakfast.
Our host, David getting the finishing touches right
It was another good breakfast, and we loaded up the car and headed off to Toronto, past many more vineyards.
The drive was quicker than expected, although we used up a bit extra dropping off the rental car and getting to the correct terminal for our flight.
Our plane was a medium sized prop jet Bombadier, which got us to our destination quite quickly, unjust over an hour. Hand luggage space was a squeeze.
It had obviously been raining before we arrived and it was very overcast. Nevertheless, we disembarked, waited a little while for our bags, and were lucky enough to find a cab big enough to take the 4 of us ( and our considerable amount of luggage), to our hotel in downtown for about half of what it would cost us in Aus.
We settled in, agreed on what we needed to organise for tours over the next 2 days, and headed off on foot for the harbour area and Old Town, to have a bit of a reconnoitre.
Even with the overcast skies, it is a pretty place.

Anyone would think Halloween is approaching
On the way back to the hotel we found a very nice little French Restaurant for dinner, and had a very enjoyable meal, Cafe Le Saint Malo. (www.lecafestmalo.com)
